Size matters
Well, as I said in my last post, I’m going to post my measurements for the sake of keeping a chronicle of my fitness level. This can be considered my “starting measurements”, although that’s somewhat inaccurate, since I’ve been going to the gym and going for walks for a while now.
And so, onto the measurements (and basic other data):
Age: 23 years, 353 days (12 days until I turn 24)
Height: 180 cm (about 5′ 11″)
Weight: 77.7 kg
Body Fat Percentage (as per scales): 21%
Bicep/Tricep: Right: 33.5 cm. Left: 31.5 cm
Forearm: 27.3 cm
Chest: 104 cm
Waist: 91 cm if left neutral, 85 cm if sucked in
Hips: 95 cm
Upper leg: 54 cm
It is worth noting that the difference in size between my biceps is an issue I am working on. I did both neutral and sucked-in for waist because it helps to determine the proportion of my waist that is due to fat, and the proportion due to muscle. Muscle can be condensed by sucking in, fat cannot.
Well, time to go for my walk.
Note: these measurements were taken at 5 PM on a Sunday. As measurements can vary throughout the day, this doesn’t represent exact figures. Indeed, a good example is height – you shrink during the day, and get taller while you sleep; it’s all to do with basic physics.
